انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him): We were praying with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) when he (peace be upon him) heard the sound of people's footsteps. So he said (that is, after the prayer), "What is the matter with you?" They said, "We hurried for the prayer." So he (peace be upon him) said, "Do not do that. When you come to the prayer, come calmly. Then pray what you catch (with the imam) and complete what you have missed."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوقتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہم رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ساتھ نماز پڑھتے تھے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے لوگوں کے قدموں کی آواز سنی تو فرمایا (یعنی نماز کے بعد) تمہارا کیا حال ہے؟ انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے نماز کے لئے جلدی کی تھی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ایسا نہ کرو۔ جب تم نماز کے لئے آؤ تو آرام سے آؤ پھر جو ملے (امام کے ساتھ) پڑھ لو اور جو تم سے آگے ہو چکی اسے پوری کر لو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 244]
