انگریزی ترجمہ
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, death will be brought in the form of a white ram and made to stand between the Fire and Paradise. Then it will be said: O people of Paradise! Do you recognize this? They will raise their heads and look at it and say: Yes! We recognize it; it is death. Then it will be said: O people of the Fire! Do you recognize this? They too will raise their heads and look at it and say: Yes! We recognize it; it is death. Then the command will be given, and the ram will be slaughtered. Then it will be said: O people of Paradise! For you is eternity and there is no death; and O people of the Fire! For you too is eternal life and there is never any death for you." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) recited this verse: "And warn them of the Day of Regret, when the matter will be decided while they are in heedlessness and do not believe." He (peace be upon him) gestured with his hand toward the world (i.e., they are so preoccupied with the world that they have no fear of the Resurrection).
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابو سعید خدری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: قیامت کے دن موت ایک سفید مینڈھے کی شکل میں لائی جائے گی اور اس کو دوزخ اور جنت کے درمیان میں ٹھہرا دیا جائے گا۔ پھر کہا جائے گا کہ اے جنت والو! کیا تم اس کو پہچانتے ہو؟ وہ اپنا سر اٹھا کر کہیں گے اور اس کو دیکھیں گے اور کہیں گے کہ ہاں! ہم پہچانتے ہیں، یہ موت ہے۔ پھر کہا جائے گا کہ اے دوزخ والو! کیا تم اس کو پہچانتے ہو؟ وہ بھی سر اٹھا کر اس کو دیکھیں گے اور کہیں گے کہ ہاں! ہم اس کو پہچانتے ہیں، یہ موت ہے۔ پھر حکم ہو گا تو وہ مینڈھا ذبح کیا جائے گا، پھر کہا جائے گا کہ اے جنت والو! تمہیں ہمیشہ رہنا ہے اور کبھی موت نہیں ہے اور اے دوزخ والو! تمہیں بھی ہمیشہ زندہ رہنا ہے اور تمہارے لئے بھی کبھی موت نہیں ہے۔ پھر رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے یہ آیت پڑھی”اور ان کو حسرت کے دن سے ڈراؤ جب فیصلہ ہو جائے گا اور وہ غفلت میں ہیں اور یقین نہیں کرتے“آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اپنے ہاتھ سے دنیا کی طرف اشارہ کیا (یعنی دنیا میں ایسے مشغول ہیں کہ قیامت کا ڈر نہیں ہے)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2149]
