Narrated Al-Ala bin Abdur-Rahman: He went to Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) at his house in Basra after praying the Zuhr prayer, and the house of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) was near the mosque. When we came to him, he said, "Have you prayed Asr?" We said, "We have just come after praying Zuhr." He said, "Pray Asr." So we prayed Asr. When we had prayed Asr, he said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saying: This is the prayer of the hypocrite, who sits watching the sun, and when it is between the two horns of Satan, he rises and pecks four (quick prostrations) and does not remember Allah in it except a little."
اردو ترجمہ
علاء بن عبدالرحمن سے روایت ہے کہوہ سیدنا انس بن مالک رضی اللہ عنہ کے ہاں بصرہ والے گھر ظہر پڑھ کر گئے اور سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ کا گھر مسجد کے پاس تھا۔ پھر جب ہم ان کے یہاں گئے تو انہوں نے کہا کہ تم عصر پڑھ چکے؟ ہم نے کہا کہ ہم تو ابھی ظہر پڑھ کر آئے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عصر پڑھ لو۔ پھر ہم نے عصر پڑھی۔ جب عصر پڑھ چکے تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا ہے، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے تھے کہ یہ نماز منافق کی ہے کہ بیٹھا سورج کو دیکھتا ہے، پھر جب وہ شیطان کے دونوں سینگوں میں ہو جاتا ہے تو اٹھ کر چار ٹھونگیں مارتا ہے اور اس میں اللہ کو یاد نہیں کرتا مگر تھوڑا۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 214]
