انگریزی ترجمہ
Sayyiduna al-Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A man was reading Surat al-Kahf, and beside him a horse was tied with two long ropes. Then a cloud came over him which began to spread and draw near, and seeing it, his horse began to shy. When morning came, the man went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and mentioned (the incident of the night). He (peace be upon him) said: "That was the tranquility (sakina) which descended through the blessing of the Qur'an."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا براء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہایک شخص سورۃ الکہف پڑھ رہا تھا اور اس کے پس دو لمبی رسیوں میں ایک گھوڑا بندا ہوا تھا۔ پس اس پر ایک بدلی چھا گئی جو گھومنے اور قریب آنے لگی اور اسے دیکھ کر اس کا گھوڑا بدکنے لگا۔ پھر جب صبح ہوئی تو وہ شخص نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے پاس آیا اور (رات کے واقعہ) کا ذکر کیا۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ یہ تو سکینت (تسکین) تھی جو قرآن کی برکت سے نازل ہوئی تھی۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2106]
