انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from the Mother of the Believers Aisha as-Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent a man as commander over a military expedition, and he used to lead his troops in prayer and would always conclude his recitation with 'Say: He is Allah, the One.' When the expedition returned, the people mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), and he (peace be upon him) said: "Ask him why he used to do that." So the Companions asked him, and he said: It is the description of the Most Merciful, and I love to recite it. He (peace be upon him) said: "Tell him that Allah, the Exalted, loves him."
اردو ترجمہ
ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایک شخص کو ایک فوج پر سردار کر کے بھیجا اور وہ اپنی فوج کی نماز میں قرآن پڑھتے اور قرآت کو ہمیشہ ((قل ھو اﷲ احد)) پر ختم کرتے۔ پھر جب فوج لوٹ کر آئی تو لوگوں نے رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے اس بات کا ذکر کیا تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ان سے پوچھو کہ وہ کیوں ایسا کرتے تھے؟ پس صحابہ کرام نے ان سے پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ رحمن کی صفت ہے اور میں بات پسند کرتا ہوں کہ اس کو پڑھا کروں آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ ان سے کہہ دو کہ اللہ تعالیٰ تم سے محبت رکھتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2100]
