انگریزی ترجمہ
Sayyiduna Ubayy ibn Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "O Abu al-Mundhir! Which verse in the Book of Allah, that you have, is the greatest?" I said: Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him) know best. He (peace be upon him) said: "O Abu al-Mundhir! Which verse in the Book of Allah, that you have, is the greatest?" I said: "Allah — there is no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer" (i.e., Ayat al-Kursi). Then the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) struck me on the chest (in delight) and said: "O Abu al-Mundhir! May this knowledge be a blessing to you."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابی بن کعب رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: اے ابوالمنذر! اللہ کی کتاب میں تمہارے پاس کون سی آیت سب سے بڑی ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ اللہ اور اس کا رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمخوب جانتے ہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ اے ابوالمنذر! کون سی آیت اللہ کی کتاب میں تمہارے پاس سب سے بڑی ہے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ ((اﷲ لا الٰہ الا ھو الحی القیوم)) (یعنی آیت الکرسی) تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے میرے سینہ پر (خوش ہو کر) ہاتھ مارا اور فرمایا کہ اے ابوالمنذر! تجھے علم مبارک ہو۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 2096]
