انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The time of Zuhr begins when the sun has passed its zenith and lasts until a man's shadow is equal to his own length, until the time of Asr comes. And the time of Asr lasts until the sun turns yellow. And the time of Maghrib lasts until the twilight (shafaq) disappears. And the time of Isha lasts until the middle of the night. And the time of the Fajr prayer lasts from the break of dawn until the sun rises. Then when the sun has risen, refrain from prayer, for it rises between the two horns of the devil."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عمرو بن عاص رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہےرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: ظہر کا وقت سورج ڈھلنے سے شروع ہوتا ہے اور آدمی کا سایہ اس کی لمبائی کے برابر ہونے تک، جب تک کہ عصر کا وقت نہ آئے رہتا ہے۔ اور عصر کا وقت تب تک رہتا ہے کہ آفتاب زرد نہ ہو اور وقت مغرب جب تک رہتا ہے کہ شفق غائب نہ ہو اور وقت عشاء کا جب تک رہتا ہے کہ بیچ کی آدھی رات نہ ہو اور وقت نماز فجر کا طلوع فجر سے جب تک ہے کہ آفتاب نہ نکلے۔ پھر جب آفتاب نکل آئے تو نماز سے رکا رہے، اس لئے کہ وہ شیطان کے دونوں سینگوں کے درمیان سے نکلتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 205]
