انگریزی ترجمہ
'Abd al-'Aziz (Ibn Suhayb) said: Qatadah asked Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "Which supplication did the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) make most often?" Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) said that he (peace be upon him) most often made this supplication: "O Allah! Grant us good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and save us from the punishment of the Fire." And Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), whenever he wished to make a supplication, would make this one, and whenever he made another supplication, he would include this one in it.
اردو ترجمہ
عبدالعزیز (ابن صہیب) کہتے ہیں کہقتادہ نے سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ سے پوچھا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکون سی دعا زیادہ مانگا کرتے تھے؟ سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلماکثر یہ دعا مانگتے تھے کہ”اے اللہ ہمیں دنیا اور آخرت دونوں کی بھلائی دے اور جہنم کے عذاب سے بچا لینا“اور سیدنا انس رضی اللہ عنہ بھی جب دعا کرنا چاہتے تو یہی دعا کرتے اور جب دوسری کوئی دعا کرتے تو اس میں بھی یہ دعا ملا لیتے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1873]
