Narrated Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him): We had the task of grazing camels. When my turn came, I grazed the camels and in the evening brought them back to their resting place, and I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) standing and admonishing the people. He said: "Any Muslim who performs ablution well, then stands and prays two rak'ahs with his heart and face fully devoted to it (that is, outwardly and inwardly attentive, bringing no worldly thought into his heart nor turning his face this way and that), Paradise becomes obligatory for him." I said: "How excellent a thing the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) has said (whose reward is so great and whose effort is so little)!" At that, someone in front of me said: "The first statement was even more excellent." I looked carefully, and it was Umar al-Faruq (may Allah be pleased with him). He said: "I saw that you have just arrived. (So hear this too:) The Prophet (peace be upon him) had said: Whoever among you performs ablution well and completely, then says (in translation): 'I bear witness that none is worthy of worship except Allah, and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His servant and messenger,' then the eight gates of Paradise will be opened for him, so that he may enter through whichever gate he wishes."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہہم لوگوں کو اونٹ چرانے کا کام تھا، میری باری آئی تو میں اونٹوں کو چرا کر شام کو ان کے رہنے کی جگہ لے کر آیا تو میں نے دیکھا کہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکھڑے ہوئے لوگوں کو وعظ سنا رہے ہیں۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ جو مسلمان اچھی طرح وضو کرے، پھر کھڑا ہو کر دو رکعتیں پڑھے، اپنے دل کو اور منہ کو لگا کر (یعنی ظاہراً اور باطناً متوجہ رہے، نہ دل میں دنیا کا خیال لائے نہ منہ ادھر ادھر پھرائے) اس کے لئے جنت واجب ہو جائے گی۔ میں نے کہا آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کیا عمدہ بات فرمائی (جس کا ثواب اس قدر بڑا ہے اور محنت بہت کم ہے)۔ اس پر ایک کہنے والا میرے سامنے کہہ رہا تھا کہ پہلی بات اس سے بھی عمدہ تھی۔ میں نے غور سے دیکھا تو وہ سیدنا عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ تھے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں تجھے دیکھ رہا تھا کہ تو ابھی ابھی آیا ہے۔ (لہٰذا یہ بھی سن لے کہ) آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا تھا کہ جو کوئی تم میں سے اچھی طرح، پورا وضو کرے، پھر کہے (ترجمہ)”میں گواہی دیتا ہوں کہ کوئی عبادت کے لائق نہیں سوائے اللہ کے اور محمد (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) اس کے بندے اور بھیجے ہوئے ہیں“۔ تو اس کے لئے جنت کے آٹھوں دروازے کھول دیئے جائیں گے کہ جس دروازے سے چاہے (جنت میں) داخل ہو جائے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 143]
