انگریزی ترجمہ
Jabir ibn Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) ordered us to kill dogs, to the point that a woman coming from the desert with her dog would have it killed. Then he forbade killing them and said: 'Kill the pure black dog with two white spots over its eyes, for it is a devil.'"
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا جابر بن عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہمیں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کتوں کے مارنے کا حکم کیا یہاں تک کہ عورت جنگل سے اپنا کتا لے کر (مدینہ میں) آتی تو ہم اس کو بھی مار ڈالتے۔ پھر آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے کتوں کے قتل سے منع فرمایا اور کہا کہ اس سیاہ کتے کو مار ڈالو جس کی آنکھ پر دو سفید نقطے ہوں کیونکہ وہ شیطان ہوتا ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1245]
