انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says: The Prophet (peace be upon him) entered Mecca, and there were three hundred and sixty idols placed around the Ka'bah. He (peace be upon him) would jab at them with the stick that was in his hand and kept saying, "Truth has come and falsehood (batil) has vanished, and falsehood is bound to vanish" (Al-Isra: 81), and falsehood neither originates anything nor restores it (rather both are the acts of Allah, the Majestic and Glorious). Ibn Abi Umar added the words, "On the day of the Conquest (of Mecca) (he did this)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممکہ میں داخل ہوئے اور وہاں کعبہ کے گرد تین سو ساٹھ بت رکھے ہوئے تھے۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمانہیں اپنے ہاتھ میں موجود لکڑی چبھوتے اور فرماتے جاتے تھے کہ”حق آیا اور جھوٹ (باطل) مٹ گیا اور جھوٹ مٹنے والا ہے“(الاسراء: 81) اور جھوٹ نہ بناتا ہے کسی کو نہ لوٹاتا ہے (بلکہ دونوں اللہ جل جلالہ کے کام ہیں)۔ ابن ابی عمر نے اتنا زیادہ کیا کہ”یوم فتح (مکہ) کے دن (ایسا کیا)“۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1183]
