انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): A goat given in charity to a freed slave-girl of Umm al-Mu'minin Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her) died. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw it lying there and said: "Why did you not remove its skin, tan it, and make use of it?" The people said: "O Messenger of Allah! It was carrion (an animal that died on its own)." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Only the eating of carrion is forbidden."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہام المؤمنین میمونہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی کسی لونڈی کو ایک بکری صدقہ میں دی گئی تھی، وہ مر گئی۔ اور رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے اس کو پڑا ہوا دیکھا تو فرمایا کہ تم نے اس کی کھال کیوں نہ اتار لی؟ رنگ کر کام میں لاتے۔ تو لوگوں نے کہا کہ یا رسول اللہ! وہ مردار تھی۔ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا کہ مردار کا کھانا حرام ہے۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 117]
