Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) that he said: "The expiation for a vow is the same as the expiation for an oath (that is, feeding ten poor people, or clothing ten poor people, or freeing a slave; and if one is not able to do these, then fasting for three days)." [Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 1009]
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ عنہ رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے روایت کرتے ہیں کہآپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا: نذر کا کفارہ وہی ہے جو قسم کا کفارہ ہے۔ (یعنی دس مسکینوں کو کھانا کھلانا یا دس مسکینوں کو لباس پہنانا یا غلام آزاد کرنا۔ اگر ان کاموں کی طاقت نہ ہو تو ہر تین دن کے روزے رکھنا)۔[مختصر صحيح مسلم/حدیث: 1009]
