حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، فُضَيْلُ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَوْهَبٍ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، سَأَلَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَأَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ لُحُومِ الْغَنَمِ قَالَ " إِنْ شِئْتَ فَتَوَضَّأْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَلاَ تَوَضَّأْ " . قَالَ أَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ لُحُومِ الإِبِلِ قَالَ " نَعَمْ فَتَوَضَّأْ مِنْ لُحُومِ الإِبِلِ " . قَالَ أُصَلِّي فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ قَالَ " نَعَمْ " . قَالَ أُصَلِّي فِي مَبَارِكِ الإِبِلِ قَالَ " لاَ " .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Jabir bin Samura (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that a man asked the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) whether he should perform ablution after (eating) mutton. He (the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Perform ablution if you so desire, and if you do not wish, do not perform it.' He (again) asked: Should I perform ablution (after eating) camel's flesh? He (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Yes, perform ablution (after eating) camel's flesh.' He (again) said: May I say prayer in the sheepfolds? He (the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'Yes.' He (the narrator) again said: May I say prayer where camels lie down? He (the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: 'No.'
اردو ترجمہ
ابو کامل فضیل بن حسین جحدری نے کہا: ہمیں ابو عوانہ نے حضرت عثمان بن عبد اللہ بن موہب سے حدیث سنائی، انہوں نے جعفر بن ابی ثور سے اور انہوں نے حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت کی کہ ایک آدمی نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا: کیا میں بکری کے گوشت سے وضو کروں؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''چاہو تو وضو کر لو اور چاہو تو نہ کرو۔'' اس نے عرض کیا: اونٹ کے گوشت سے وضو کروں؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''ہاں، اونٹ کے گوشت سے وضو کرو۔'' اس نے عرض کیا: کیا بکریوں کے باڑے میں نماز پڑھ لوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''ہاں۔'' اس نے عرض کیا: اونٹوں کے بٹھانے کی جگہ میں نماز پڑھ لوں؟ آپ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: ''نہیں۔''
