و حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ قَالَ ح و حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِسُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ سَمِعْتَ الزُّهْرِيَّ يَذْكُرُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ اللَّيْثِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَتَيْتُمْ الْغَائِطَ فَلَا تَسْتَقْبِلُوا الْقِبْلَةَ وَلَا تَسْتَدْبِرُوهَا بِبَوْلٍ وَلَا غَائِطٍ وَلَكِنْ شَرِّقُوا أَوْ غَرِّبُوا قَالَ أَبُو أَيُّوبَ فَقَدِمْنَا الشَّامَ فَوَجَدْنَا مَرَاحِيضَ قَدْ بُنِيَتْ قِبَلَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَنَنْحَرِفُ عَنْهَا وَنَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ قَالَ نَعَمْ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Ayyub (may Allah be well pleased with him) reported that the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: When you go to relieve yourselves, neither face the Qibla nor turn your backs towards it while urinating or defecating, but face towards the east or the west. Hadrat Abu Ayyub (may Allah be well pleased with him) said: When we came to Syria, we found lavatories that had been built facing the Qibla. We would turn away from them and seek forgiveness from Allah. He (Sufyan) said: Yes.

عبدہ بن سلیمان ، سفیان اور شعبہ نے صالح بن صالح کے واسطے سے سابقہ سند کے ساتھ یہی حدیث بیان کی ۔
