وَحَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ نَافِعٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا ثَابِتٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ مَا صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ أَحَدٍ أَوْجَزَ صَلاَةً مِنْ صَلاَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي تَمَامٍ كَانَتْ صَلاَةُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم مُتَقَارِبَةً وَكَانَتْ صَلاَةُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ مُتَقَارِبَةً فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ مَدَّ فِي صَلاَةِ الْفَجْرِ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا قَالَ " سَمِعَ اللَّهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ " . قَامَ حَتَّى نَقُولَ قَدْ أَوْهَمَ . ثُمَّ يَسْجُدُ وَيَقْعُدُ بَيْنَ السَّجْدَتَيْنِ حَتَّى نَقُولَ قَدْ أَوْهَمَ .
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Bakr ibn Nafi' al-Abdi narrated to me, Bahz narrated to us, Hammad narrated to us, Thabit informed us from Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him), who said: I have never prayed behind anyone whose prayer was more brief and yet more complete than that of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The prayer of the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was well-balanced (with its postures nearly equal), and so was the prayer of Hadrat Abu Bakr (may Allah be well pleased with him). When Hadrat Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be well pleased with him) became (caliph), he prolonged the recitation in the Fajr prayer. And the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), when he said 'Sami' Allahu liman hamidah' (Allah hears the one who praises Him), would stand so long that we would say he has forgotten. Then he would prostrate, and he would sit between the two prostrations so long that we would say he has forgotten.
اردو ترجمہ
مجھے حضرت ابو بکر بن نافع عبدی نے حدیث بیان کی، کہا ہمیں بہز نے حدیث بیان کی، کہا ہمیں حماد نے حدیث بیان کی، کہا ہمیں ثابت نے حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے خبر دی، انہوں نے فرمایا: میں نے کسی کے پیچھے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے زیادہ ہلکی نماز نہیں پڑھی جو مکمل ہو۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کی نماز (میں ارکان کی طوالت) قریب قریب تھی اور حضرت ابو بکر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کی نماز بھی قریب قریب ہوتی تھی۔ جب حضرت عمر بن خطاب رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ (خلیفہ) ہوئے تو انہوں نے نماز فجر (میں قراءت) لمبی کر دی۔ اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب ''سمع اللہ لمن حمدہ'' فرماتے تو کھڑے رہتے، حتیٰ کہ ہم کہتے: آپ (شاید) بھول گئے ہیں، پھر سجدہ فرماتے اور دو سجدوں کے درمیان بیٹھے رہتے، حتیٰ کہ ہم کہتے: (شاید) آپ بھول گئے ہیں۔
