وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْحَيَاءُ وَالْعِيُّ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَالْبَذَاءُ وَالْبَيَانُ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Aishah reported: The Prophet, peace be upon him, used to set up a pulpit in the mosque for Hassan ibn Thabit so that he would stand and defend the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, with his poetry. The Prophet said: "Indeed, Allah supports Hassan with the Holy Spirit as long as he defends and praises the Messenger of Allah."
اردو ترجمہ
ابوامامہ رضی اللہ عنہ، نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے روایت کرتے ہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا:”حیا اور کم گوئی ایمان کی شاخیں ہیں، جبکہ فحش گوئی اور بیان (مبالغہ آرائی) نفاق کی دو شاخیں ہیں۔“اسنادہ صحیح، رواہ الترمذی۔[مشكوة المصابيح/كتاب الآداب/حدیث: 4796]
