وَ��َنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: لَمَّا أَتَى مَاعِزُ بن مَالك النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لَهُ: «لَعَلَّكَ قَبَّلْتَ أَوْ غَمَزْتَ أَوْ نَظَرْتَ؟» قَالَ: لَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ: «أَنِكْتَهَا؟» لَا يُكَنِّي قَالَ: نَعَمْ فَعِنْدَ ذَلِكَ أَمر رجمه. رَوَاهُ البُخَارِيّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Ibn ‘Abbas said that when Ma'iz b. Malik came to the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and he* said, “Perhaps you kissed, or squeezed, or looked,” he replied, “No, Messenger of God.” He then said, “Did you have intercourse with her?” asking the question in plain words, and when he replied that he had, he gave orders that he should be stoned to death. Bukhari transmitted it. * i.e. the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). The tradition leaves it to be inferred that Ma'iz had confessed to committing fornication.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما فرماتے ہیں: جب حضرت ماعز بن مالک رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس آئے تو آپ نے فرمایا: «شاید تم نے بوسہ لیا ہو، یا چھیڑا ہو، یا دیکھا ہو؟» عرض کیا: نہیں یا رسول اللہ! فرمایا: «کیا تم نے اس سے صحبت کی؟» صاف الفاظ میں پوچھا۔ عرض کیا: ہاں۔ اس پر آپ نے اسے رجم کرنے کا حکم فرمایا۔ بخاری نے اسے روایت کیا۔
