وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَظَرَ إِلَى الْقَمَرِ فَقَالَ: «يَا عَائِشَةُ اسْتَعِيذِي بِاللَّهِ مِنْ شَرِّ هَذَا فَإِنَّ هَذَا هُوَ الْغَاسِقُ إِذا وَقب» . رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ
انگریزی ترجمہ
‘A’isha told of the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) looking at the moon and saying, “Seek refuge in God from the evil of this one, Hadrat 'A'isha, for this is the darkness when it overspreads.” 2 2. cf. Qur’an, cxiii, 3. The tradition is said to refer to the moon being eclipsed. Tirmidhi transmitted it.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے چاند کی طرف دیکھ کر فرمایا: حضرت اُمّ المؤمنین عائشہ! اس کے شر سے اللہ کی پناہ مانگو کیونکہ یہ وہی اندھیرا ہے جب چھا جائے۔ (ترمذی)
