77 صحيح حديث حَكيمِ بْنِ حِزامٍ رضي الله عنه، قَالَ: قُلْتُ يا رَسُولَ اللهِ أَرَأَيْتَ أَشْياءَ كُنْتُ أَتَحَنَّثُ بِها في الْجاهِلِيَّةِ مِنْ صَدَقَةٍ أَوْ عَتاقَةٍ وَصِلَةِ رَحِمٍ، فَهَلْ فيها مِنْ أَجْرٍ فَقالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَسْلَمْتَ عَلى ما سَلَفَ مِنْ خَيْرٍ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, I had intended to order firewood to be gathered, then to order the call to prayer to be given, then to appoint a man to lead the prayer, then to go to the men (who do not come to the prayer) and burn their houses down upon them. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, if any of them knew he would find a fat bone or two good sheep's trotters, he would attend the Isha prayer."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا حکیم بن حزام رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے عرض کی: یا رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! ان نیک کاموں سے متعلق آپ کیا فرماتے ہیں جنہیں میں جاہلیت کے زمانہ میں صدقہ، غلام آزاد کرنے اور صلہ رحمی کی صورت میں کیا کرتا تھا، کیا ان کا مجھے ثواب ملے گا؟ نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”تم اپنی ان تمام نیکیوں کے ساتھ اسلام لائے ہو جو پہلے گزر چکی ہیں۔“[اللؤلؤ والمرجان/كتاب الايمان/حدیث: 77]
