أناعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْنَافِعٍ، عَنِابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ،إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَنْ أَعْتَكِفَ لَيْلَةً فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" أَوْفِ بِنَذْرِكَ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever has a characteristic from these four is a pure hypocrite, and whoever has one of them has a trait of hypocrisy until he abandons it: when he is entrusted, he betrays; when he speaks, he lies; when he makes a promise, he breaks it; and when he quarrels, he behaves treacherously."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما سے روایت ہے کہ بے شک عمر رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا: اے اللہ کے رسولصلی اللہ علیہ وسلم! بے شک میں نے جاہلیت میں نذر مانی تھی کہ ایک رات مسجد حرام میں اعتکاف بیٹھوں گا تو رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اپنی نذر پوری کر۔“[مسند عبدالله بن مبارك/حدیث: 189]
