وَبِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَبِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ:" لَوْ أَنَّ دَلْوًا مِنْ غَسَّاقٍ يُهَرَاقُ بِهِ الدُّنْيَا، لأَنْتَنَ أَهْلَ الدُّنْيَا".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "The example of a believer who recites the Quran is like a citron — its smell is pleasant and its taste is pleasant. The example of a believer who does not recite the Quran is like a date — it has no smell but its taste is sweet."
اردو ترجمہ
اور اسی سند سے مروی ہے کہ نبی اکرمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”اگر بے شک ایک پیپ کا ڈول دنیا میں بہا دیا جائے تو یقیناً دنیا والوں کو بدبودار کر دے۔“[مسند عبدالله بن مبارك/حدیث: 141]
