أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَرُوبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ جَاءَ الطُّفَيْلُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الدَّوْسِيُّ إِلَى نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ دَوْسًا قَدْ عَصَتْ وَأَبَتْ فَادْعُ اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِمْ فَقَالَ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِ دَوْسًا وَائْتِ بِهِمْ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, I had intended to order that firewood be gathered, then order the prayer to be called, then order a man to lead people in prayer, then go to men who do not attend the prayer and burn their houses down upon them. By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, if any one of them knew he would find a meaty bone or two good hooves, he would attend the Isha prayer.'
