أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ حَدَّثَنَا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ يَعْلَى بْنَ حَكِيمٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ خَرَجَ فِي مَرَضِهِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ عَاصِبًا رَأْسَهُ فَجَلَسَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَحَمِدَ اللَّهَ وَأَثْنَى عَلَيْهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ «إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنَ النَّاسِ أَحَدٌ أَمَنَّ عَلَيَّ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ مِنِ ابْنِ أَبِي قُحَافَةَ وَلَوْ كُنْتُ مُتَّخِذًا مِنَ النَّاسِ خَلِيلًا لَاتَّخَذْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ وَلَكِنْ خُلَّةُ الْإِسْلَامِ سُدُّوا عَنِّي كُلَّ خَوْخَةٍ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ غَيْرَ خَوْخَةِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Ibn Abbas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) came out during his illness in which he died, with his head bound, and sat on the pulpit. He praised Allah and glorified Him, then said: 'There is no one among the people who has been more generous to me with himself and his wealth than Ibn Abi Quhafah (Abu Bakr). If I were to take a close friend from among people, I would have taken Abu Bakr, but the close friendship of Islam [is sufficient]. Close off from me every small door in the mosque except the door of Abu Bakr.'
