أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ أَنَّ بَكْرَ بْنَ سَوَادَةَ حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّ يَزِيدَ بْنَ رَبَاحٍ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ رَسُولِ ال��َّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا فُتِحَتْ عَلَيْكُمْ خَزَائِنُ فَارِسَ وَالرُّومِ أَيُّ قَوْمٍ أَنْتُمْ»؟ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ نَكُونُ كَمَا أَمَرَنَا اللَّهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «تَتَنَافَسُونَ ثُمَّ تَتَحَاسَدُونَ ثُمَّ تَتَدَابَرُونَ ثُمَّ تَتَبَاغَضُونَ ثُمَّ تَنْطَلِقُونَ إِلَى مَسَاكِينِ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ فَتَحْمِلُونَ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَى رِقَابِ بَعْضٍ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Salm informed us, Harmalah ibn Yahya narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Amr ibn al-Harith informed me that Bakr ibn Sawadah narrated to him that Yazid ibn Rabah narrated to him from Abdullah ibn Amr from the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) who said: "When the treasures of Persia and Rome are opened to you, what kind of people will you be?" Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf said: We will be as Allah has commanded us. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "You will compete with one another, then envy one another, then turn your backs on one another, then hate one another, then you will go to the poor among the Emigrants and turn some of them against others."
