أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ عِمْرَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِمَاسَةَ الْمَهْرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا ذَرٍّ يَقُولُ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «إِنَّكُمْ سَتَفْتَحُونَ أَرْضًا يُذْكَرُ فِيهَا الْقِيرَاطُ فَاسْتَوْصُوا بِأَهْلِهَا خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ لَهُمْ ذِمَّةً وَرَحِمًا» قَالَ حَرْمَلَةُ «يَعْنِي بِالْقِيرَاطِ أَنَّ قِبْطَ مِصْرَ يُسَمُّونَ أَعْيَادَهُمْ وَكُلَّ مَجْمَعٍ لَهُمُ الْقِيرَاطَ يَقُولُونَ نَشْهَدُ الْقِيرَاطَ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Muhammad ibn al-Hasan ibn Qutaybah informed us, Harmalah ibn Yahya narrated to us, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, Harmalah ibn Imran informed me from Abd al-Rahman ibn Shimasah al-Mahri who said: I heard Abu Dharr say: The Prophet ﷺ said: "You will conquer a land where the qirat is mentioned, so treat its people well, for they have protection (dhimmah) and kinship (rahim)." Harmalah said: "By al-qirat he means that the Copts of Egypt call their festivals and every gathering of theirs al-qirat, saying: 'We will attend the qirat.'"
