أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو يَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أُمَيَّةُ بْنُ بِسْطَامٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ الْمَلِكِ بْنَ أَبِي جَمِيلَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ إِنَّهُ لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ لَحْمٌ وَدَمٌ نَبَتَا عَلَى سُحْتٍ النَّارُ أَوْلَى بِهِ يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ النَّاسُ غَادِيَانِ فَغَا��ٍ فِي فَكَاكِ نَفْسِهِ فَمُعْتِقُهَا وَغَادٍ مُوبِقُهَا يَا كَعْبُ بْنَ عُجْرَةَ الصَّلَاةُ قُرْبَانٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ بُرْهَانٌ وَالصَّوْمُ جُنَّةٌ وَالصَّدَقَةُ تُطْفِئُ الْخَطِيئَةَ كَمَا يَذْهَبُ الْجَلِيدُ عَلَى الصَّفَا»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Hasan ibn Sufyan informed us, he said: Muhammad ibn Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Abdul Rahman ibn Sulayman narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from Amir al-Sha'bi, from Jabir ibn Samura, who said: Mu'adh used to lead his people in prayer and would prolong it. A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and complained about that. So the Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Mu'adh, you are a trial-maker, you are a trial-maker.' Or he said: 'You are a tester, you are a tester.' And he commanded him to recite: By the sun and its brightness (Surat al-Shams) and Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High (Surat al-A'la) and similar surahs.
