أَخْبَرَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ عَامَ حَجَّ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ تَنَاوَلَ قُصَّةً مِنْ شَعْرٍ كَانَتْ فِي يَدِ حَرَسِيٍّ يَقُولُ يَا أَهْلَ الْمَدِينَةِ أَيْنَ عُلَمَاؤُكُمْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَنْهَى عَنْ مِثْلِ هَذِهِ وَيَقُولُ «إِنَّمَا هَلَكَتْ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ حَيْثُ اتَّخَذَ هَذِهِ نِسَاؤُهُمْ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Al-Husayn ibn Idris al-Ansari informed us, he said: Ahmad ibn Abi Bakr informed us, from Malik, from Ibn Shihab, from Humayd ibn Abdul Rahman ibn Awf, that he heard Mu'awiya in the year he performed Hajj while he was on the minbar, he took a tuft of hair that was in the hand of a guard, saying: 'O people of Medina, where are your scholars? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbid the like of this and say: "The Children of Israel were only destroyed when their women adopted this."'
