أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنْ قَيْسٍ عَنْ جَرِيرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ «بَايَعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى إِقَامِ الصَّلَاةِ وَإِيتَاءِ الزَّكَاةِ وَالنُّصْحِ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ»

Umar bin Muhammad Al-Hamdani narrated to us, saying: Amr bin Ali narrated to us, saying: Yahya bin Sa'id narrated to us, saying: Isma'il bin Abi Khalid narrated to us, who said: I heard Qais bin Abi Hazim saying: I saw Bilal walking in front of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) with a stick in his hand, straightening the row.
