أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِذْ أُتِيَ بِجُمَّارٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مِنَ الشَّجَرِ شَجَرَةٌ بَرَكَتُهَا كَالْمُسْلِمِ» قَالَ فَأُرِيتُ أَنَّهَا النَّخْلَةُ ثُمَّ نَظَرْتُ إِلَى الْقَوْمِ فَإِذَا أَنَا عَاشِرُ عَشَرَةٍ وَأَنَا أَحْدَثُ الْقَوْمِ فَسَكَتُّ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be well pleased with them both) narrated: We were sitting with the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) when the heart of a palm tree was brought. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "Among the trees there is a tree whose blessing is like that of a Muslim." He said: I thought it was the date palm, then I looked at the people and saw that I was the tenth of ten and the youngest among them, so I remained silent. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stated: "It is the date palm."
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابن عمر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے روایت ہے: ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے پاس بیٹھے تھے کہ کھجور کا گودا لایا گیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «درختوں میں ایک درخت ہے جس کی برکت مسلمان جیسی ہے۔» میں نے سوچا کہ وہ کھجور کا درخت ہے، پھر قوم کی طرف دیکھا تو میں دس میں سے دسواں اور سب سے کم عمر تھا، تو خاموش رہا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا: «وہ کھجور کا درخت ہے۔»
