أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَرْمَلَةُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبَّادُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ أَنَّ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ يَقُولُ عَدَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا مَعَهُ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ فَعَدَلْتُ مَعَهُ فَأَنَاخَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَبَرَّزَ ثُمَّ جَاءَنِي فَسَكَبْتُ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْإِدَاوَةِ فَغَسَلَ كَفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ غَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثُمَّ حَسَرَ عَنْ ذِرَاعَيْهِ فَضَاقَ كُمُّ جُبَّتِهِ فَأَدْخَلَ يَدَيْهِ فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِنْ تَحْتِ الْجُبَّةِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا إِلَى الْمِرْفَقِ وَمَسَحَ بِرَأْسِهِ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ فَأَقْبَلْنَا نَسِيرُ حَتَّى نَجْدَ النَّاسَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَدَّمُوا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ عَوْفٍ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ حِينَ كَانَ وَقْتُ الصَّلَاةِ وَوَجَدْنَا عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ قَدْ رَكَعَ بِهِمْ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَعَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَرَاءَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ فَصَلَّى الرَّكْعَةَ الثَّانِيَةَ مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ فَقَامَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُتِمُّ صَلَاتَهُ فَفَزِعَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ وَأَكْثَرُوا التَّسْبِيحَ لِأَنَّهُمْ سَبَقُوا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَلَمَّا سَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لَهُمْ «أَحْسَنْتُمْ» أَوْ «قَدْ أَصَبْتُمْ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Mughirah ibn Shu'bah (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) turned aside - and I was with him - during the expedition of Tabuk before Fajr. I turned with him. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) made his camel kneel and relieved himself. Then he came to me and I poured water on his hands from the vessel. He washed his hands, then his face. Then he rolled up his sleeves but the sleeves of his robe were tight, so he put his hands underneath the robe and washed his arms up to the elbows. He wiped over his head, then performed ablution over his leather socks. Then he mounted and we proceeded until we found the people in prayer - they had brought forward Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf who led them in prayer when the time for prayer had come. We found that Abd al-Rahman had already led them in one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer. The Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood with the Muslims behind Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf and prayed the second rak'ah of the Fajr prayer. Then Abd al-Rahman gave salutations and the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) stood to complete his prayer. The Muslims became alarmed and increased in saying SubhanAllah, because they had preceded the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). When the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) gave salutations, he said to them: "You did well" or "You did right."
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت مغیرہ بن شعبہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم غزوہ تبوک میں فجر سے پہلے ایک طرف ہو گئے اور میں آپ کے ساتھ تھا۔ میں بھی آپ کے ساتھ ہو لیا۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے اونٹنی بٹھائی اور قضائے حاجت فرمائی۔ پھر میرے پاس آئے تو میں نے برتن سے آپ کے ہاتھوں پر پانی ڈالا۔ آپ نے دونوں ہتھیلیاں دھوئیں، پھر چہرہ دھویا، پھر بازو کھولنے لگے تو جبے کی آستینیں تنگ تھیں، تو آپ نے ہاتھ جبے کے نیچے سے نکالے اور کہنیوں تک دھوئے۔ سر پر مسح فرمایا، پھر موزوں پر مسح فرمایا۔ پھر سوار ہوئے اور ہم چل پڑے یہاں تک کہ لوگوں کو نماز پڑھتے پایا۔ انہوں نے عبد الرحمن بن عوف کو آگے کیا تھا جنہوں نے نماز کا وقت آنے پر انہیں نماز پڑھائی۔ ہم نے عبد الرحمن کو پایا کہ وہ فجر کی ایک رکعت پڑھا چکے تھے۔ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم مسلمانوں کے ساتھ عبد الرحمن بن عوف کے پیچھے کھڑے ہوئے اور فجر کی دوسری رکعت پڑھی۔ پھر عبد الرحمن نے سلام پھیرا اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم اپنی نماز پوری کرنے کے لیے کھڑے ہوئے۔ مسلمان گھبرا گئے اور بہت سبحان اللہ کہنے لگے کیونکہ انہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے آگے نماز پڑھ لی تھی۔ جب رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے سلام پھیرا تو ارشاد فرمایا: "تم نے اچھا کیا" یا "تم نے صحیح کیا۔"
