أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ الْجُمَحِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدُ بْنُ مُسَرْهَدٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عَلَيْهِ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ الْحُوَيْرِثِ قَالَ أَتَيْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ شَبَبَةٌ مُتَقَارِبُونَ فَأَقَمْنَا عِنْدَهُ عِشْرِينَ لَيْلَةً فَظَنَّ أَنَّا قَدِ اشْتَقْنَا أَهْلِينَا سَأَلْنَا عَمَّنْ تَرَكْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِينَا فَأَخْبَرْنَاهُ وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَحِيمًا رَفِيقًا فَقَالَ « ارْجِعُوا إِلَى أَهْلِيكُمْ فَعَلِّمُوهُمْ وَمُرُوهُمْ وَصَلُّوا كَمَا رَأَيْتُمُونِي أُصَلِّي فَإِذَا حَضَرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَلْيُؤَذِّنْ أَحَدُكُمْ وَلْيَؤُمَّكُمْ أَكْبَرُكُمْ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Malik ibn al-Huwayrith said: We came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) as young men of similar age, and we stayed with him for twenty nights. He thought that we had missed our families, so he asked us about those we had left behind of our families, and we informed him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was merciful and kind, so he said: 'Return to your families, teach them, command them, and pray as you have seen me pray. When the prayer time comes, let one of you give the call to prayer, and let the eldest of you lead you.'
