Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), when he began the prayer, would raise his hands level with his shoulders; when he said the takbir for bowing; and when he raised his head from bowing, he would raise them likewise and say: 'Allah hears the one who praises Him, our Lord, and to You is the praise.' He would not do that in prostration.
