أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْجَزَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَكْحُولٌ عَنْ مَحْمُودِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَكَانَ يَسْكُنُ إِيلِيَاءَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ صَلَّى بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ فَثَقُلَتْ عَلَيْهِ الْقِرَاءَةُ فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ قَالَ «إِنِّي لَأَرَاكُمْ تَقْرَءُونَ وَرَاءَ إِمَامِكُمْ» قَالَ قُلْنَا أَجَلْ وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذًّا قَالَ «فَلَا تَفْعَلُوا إِلَّا بِأُمِّ الْكِتَابِ فَإِنَّهُ لَا صَلَاةَ لِمَنْ لَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِهَا»
انگریزی ترجمہ
'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led us in the Fajr prayer, and the recitation became difficult for him. When he finished, he said: 'Indeed, I see you reciting behind your imam.' We said, 'Yes, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah, hurriedly.' He said: 'Do not do so except with the Opening of the Book (Al-Fatihah), for there is no prayer for one who does not recite it.'
