أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ فُضَيْلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حُصَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سِرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ بَعْضُ الْقَوْمِ لَوْ عَرَّسْتَ بِنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «أَخَافُ أَنْ تَنَامُوا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ» فَقَالَ بِلَالٌ أَنَا أُوقِظُكُمْ فَاسْتَنَدَ إِلَى رَاحِلَتِهِ وَاسْتَيْقَظَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَقَدْ طَلَعَ حَاجِبُ الشَّمْسِ فَقَالَ «يَا بِلَالُ أَيْنَ مَا قُلْتَ؟ » قَالَ أُلْقِيَتْ عَلَيَّ نَوْمَةٌ مَا نِمْتُ مِثْلَهَا قَطُّ قَالَ «قُمْ فَأَذِّنِ النَّاسَ بِالصَّلَاةِ» فَلَمَّا طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَابْيَضَّتْ قَامَ فَصَلَّى بِهِمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah bin Abi Qatadah narrated from his father: We traveled with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and some of the people said: 'Would you let us rest, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'I fear you will sleep through the prayer.' Bilal said: 'I will wake you.' So he leaned against his mount, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ woke up when the edge of the sun had appeared. He said: 'O Bilal, where is what you said?' He said: 'A sleep came over me the like of which I have never experienced.' He said: 'Stand and call the people to prayer.' When the sun rose and became white, he stood and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led them in prayer.
