أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلْمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي حَسَّانُ بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سَابِطٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ قَالَ قَدِمَ عَلَيْنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ جَبَلٍ الْيَمَنَ بَعَثَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَيْنَا فَسَمِعْتُ تَكْبِيرَهُ مَعَ الْفَجْرِ رَجُلٌ أَجَشُّ الصَّوْتِ فَأَلْقَيْتُ عَلَيْهِ مَحَبَّتِي فَمَا فَارَقْتُهُ حَتَّى دَفَنْتُهُ بِالشَّامِ ثُمَّ نَظَرْتُ إِلَى أَفْقَهِ النَّاسِ بَعْدَهُ فَأَتَيْتُ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ فَلَزِمْتُهُ حَتَّى مَاتَ فَقَالَ لِي قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «كَيْفَ بِكُمْ إِذْا أُمِّرَ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يُصَلُّونَ الصَّلَاةَ لِغَيْرِ مِيقَاتِهَا؟ » قُلْتُ فَمَا تَأْمُرُنِي إِنْ أَدْرَكَنِي ذَلِكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «صَلِّ الصَّلَاةَ لِمِيقَاتِهَا وَاجْعَلْ صَلَاتَكَ مَعَهُمْ سُبْحَةً»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Amr bin Maymun al-Awdi narrated: Mu'adh bin Jabal came to us in Yemen - the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had sent him to us. I heard his takbir with the dawn prayer, a man with a hoarse voice, and I became attached to him. I did not leave him until I buried him in Syria. Then I looked for the most knowledgeable person after him, so I came to Ibn Mas'ud and stayed with him until he died. He said to me: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'What will you do when rulers are appointed over you who delay the prayer from its proper time?' I said: 'What do you command me if that happens to me, O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Pray the prayer at its proper time, and make your prayer with them a voluntary one.'
