[Machine] I heard the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم saying: "Whoever wears an amulet, Allah will not complete his matter, and whoever wears a necklace, Allah will not leave him." حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا بَحْرُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ ثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ أَخْبَرَنِي حَيْوَةُ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْمَعَافِرِيِّ عَنْ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عُقْبَةَ بْنَ عَامِرٍ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ عَلَّقَ تَمِيمَةً فَلَا أَتَمَّ اللَّهُ لَهُ وَمَنْ عَلَّقَ وَدَعَةً فَلَا وَدَعَ اللَّهُ لَهُ»
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrated: I heard the Beloved Messenger of Allah (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) state: "Whoever wears an amulet, may Allah not fulfill his objective; and whoever wears a seashell [charm], may Allah not grant him peace."
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت عقبہ بن عامر رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کو ارشاد فرماتے سنا: «جس نے تمیمہ (تعویذ) لٹکایا اللہ اس کا کام پورا نہ کرے، اور جس نے ودعہ (سیپی کا تعویذ) لٹکایا اللہ اسے چین نہ دے۔»
