انگریزی ترجمہ
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated — in which he said: "We have nothing except the Book of Allah and this document from the Prophet (peace be upon him)." It states: "Madinah is a sanctuary from Mount 'Ayr to Mount Thawr. Whoever commits an innovation therein, acts upon it, or shelters an innovator — upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Neither his voluntary nor his obligatory worship will be accepted." And he said: "The covenant of any one Muslim is binding upon all. Whoever breaks a Muslim's covenant — upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Neither his voluntary nor his obligatory worship will be accepted. And whoever takes a master other than his own (master) without permission — upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all of mankind. Neither his voluntary nor his obligatory worship will be accepted."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا علی رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہجس میں انھوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے پاس کچھ نہیں ہے سوائے کتاب اللہ کے اور اس صحیفہ کے جو نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے منقول ہے۔ (اس میں یہ مضمون بھی ہے):”مدینہ عائر (نامی پہاڑ) سے لے کر فلاں مقام (ثور) تک حرم ہے۔ جو شخص یہاں بدعت ایجاد کرے، اس پر عمل کرے یا بدعتی کو پناہ دے اس پر اللہ کی اور فرشتوں کی اور سب انسانوں کی لعنت۔ اس کی نہ کوئی نفل عبادت قبول ہو گی اور نہ کوئی فرض عبادت۔“اور فرمایا:”تم مسلمانوں میں سے کسی ایک کا بھی عہد کافی ہے پھر جو کوئی کسی بھی مسلمان کا عہد توڑے اس پر اللہ کی اور فرشتوں کی اور سب انسانوں کی لعنت۔ اس کی نہ تو کوئی نفل عبادت ہی مقبول ہو گی اور نہ ہی کوئی فرض عبادت اور جو کوئی (غلام) اپنے مالک کو چھوڑ کر، بغیر اس کی اجازت کے کسی دوسرے کو مالک بنائے تو اس پر اللہ کی اور فرشتوں کی اور سب انسانوں کی لعنت۔ نہ اس سے کوئی نفل عبادت مقبول ہو گی نہ کوئی فرض عبادت۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 904]
