انگریزی ترجمہ
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that he mentioned the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) in his sermon, saying that the Prophet (peace be upon him) once said: "Your brother (Abdullah ibn Rawahah, may Allah be pleased with him) does not speak falsehood." And then Abu Hurayrah recited the verses of Ibn Rawahah: "Among us is the Messenger of Allah who recites His Book to us when the morning light breaks forth. He showed us guidance after blindness, and our hearts believe with certainty that what he says will come to pass. He spends the night with his side raised from his bed, while the beds of the disbelievers are weighed down by heavy sleep."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہوہ اپنے وعظ میں رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکا ذکر کرنے لگے کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے ایک مرتبہ فرمایا:”تمہارا بھائی (عبداللہ بن رواحہ رضی اللہ عنہ) لغویات نہیں کہتا (کہ دیکھو وہ ان اشعار میں کیسے سچے مضامین بیان کر رہا ہے):”ہم میں اللہ کے رسول ہیں جو اسی کی کتاب پڑھ کر ہمیں سناتے ہیں جب صبح کی پو پھٹتی ہے۔ ہم تو اندھے تھے، اسی نے رستہ بتلا دیا۔ بات ہے اس کی یقینی جو کہ دل میں اتر جاتی ہے۔ رات کو رکھتا ہے پہلو اپنے بستر سے الگ اور کافروں کے خواب گاہ کو نیند بھاری کرتی ہے۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 612]
