انگریزی ترجمہ
Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that when the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would wake up for Tahajjud at night, he would say: "O Allah, all praise is Yours. You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. All praise is Yours. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. All praise is Yours. You are the Sovereign of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. All praise is Yours. You are the Truth. Your promise is true. Your meeting is true. Your Word is true. Paradise is true. Hellfire is true. The Prophets are true. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is true. The Hour is true. O Allah, to You I submit. In You I believe. Upon You I rely. To You I turn. By Your help I argue. To You I refer for judgment. So forgive me my past and future sins, my secret and open sins. You are the One who advances and the One who delays. There is no god but You." Or he said: "There is no true god besides You."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبداللہ بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہرسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمجب رات کو تہجد پڑھنے کے لیے اٹھتے تو کہتے:”اے اللہ! ہر طرح کی تعریف تیرے لیے ہے، تو مدبر ہے آسمان و زمین کا اور ان چیزوں کا جو ان کے درمیان ہیں اور تیری ہی تعریف ہے، تو نور ہے آسمان و زمین کا اور ان چیزوں کا جو ان کے درمیان ہیں اور تیری ہی تعریف ہے، تو بادشاہ ہے آسمان و زمین کا اور ان چیزوں کا جو ان کے درمیان ہیں اور تیری ہی تعریف ہے، تو سچا ہے اور تیرا وعدہ سچا ہے اور تیرا ملنا برحق ہے اور تیری بات سچی ہے اور جنت و دوزخ برحق ہے اور کل پیغمبر برحق ہیں اور محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسچے ہیں اور قیامت برحق ہے۔ اے اللہ! میں تیرا فرمانبردار ہوں اور تجھ پر ایمان لایا ہوں اور تجھ پر بھروسہ کیا ہے اور تیری طرف رجوع کرتا ہوں اور تیری ہی مدد سے مخالفین کے ساتھ جھگڑتا ہوں اور تجھ ہی کو حاکم بناتا ہوں تو میرے اگلے پچھلے، ظاہر پوشیدہ گناہوں کو معاف فرما دے، تو ہی آگے اور پیچھے کرنے والا ہے، کوئی معبود نہیں مگر تو ہی۔“یا فرمایا:”تیرے علاوہ کوئی معبود حقیقی نہیں۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 590]
