انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) called us, and we gave him (peace be upon him) our pledge of allegiance. Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) says: In the pledge, he (peace be upon him) took from us this commitment: that in our joy and sorrow, in hardship and ease, we would hear and obey his command, even if others were given preference and precedence over us without our being entitled to it (even then we would be patient), and that we would not dispute with the rulers concerning authority, except (the Prophet (peace be upon him) says): "When you see open disbelief (disobedience) concerning which you have proof from Allah."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہہمیں نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے بلایا، پس ہم نے آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکی بیعت کی۔ عبادہ رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے بیعت میں ہم سے یہ اقرار لیا کہ اپنی خوشی و رنج اور تنگی اور فراخی میں آپ کا حکم سنیں گے اور حکم بجا لائیں گے، اگرچہ ہم پر بلا استحقاق دوسروں کو فضیلت و ترجیح دی جائے (تب بھی ہم صبر کریں گے) اور یہ کہ سلطنت کے بارے میں ہم حاکموں سے جھگڑا نہ کریں مگر (نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمفرماتے ہیں):“جب کہ تم ظاہر کفر (نافرمانی) کو دیکھو جس میں اللہ کی طرف سے تمہارے پاس دلیل ہو۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2188]
