انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Burdah al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) say: "No more than ten lashes are to be given (as discretionary punishment), except in the case of the prescribed limits of Allah (which He has fixed in the Qur'an and the Sunnah)."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوبردہ انصاری رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمسے سنا، آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا ہے:”(تعزیر میں) دس دروں سے زیادہ نہ مارے جائیں سوائے اللہ کی ان حدوں کے (جو اس نے قرآن و حدیث میں مقرر کر دی ہیں)۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 2166]
