Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Every Prophet who has passed was given such miracles as caused people to believe on seeing them, and the miracle I was given is the revelation (the Qur'an) which Allah has revealed to me (all the previous miracles' effects came to an end with the passing of time, and this miracle, the Qur'an, is everlasting). So I hope that on the Day of Resurrection my nation's followers will be more numerous than the followers of all the Prophets."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”جتنے پیغمبر گزرے ہیں ان میں سے ہر ایک کو ایسے ایسے معجزے دیے گئے جن کو دیکھ کر لوگ ایمان لائے اور مجھے جو معجزہ دیا گیا وہ وحی (قرآن) ہے جس کو اللہ نے مجھ پر وحی (کے ذریعے نازل) کیا ہے (پہلے تمام معجزوں کا اثر وقت کے ساتھ ختم ہو گیا اور یہ معجزہ (قرآن دائمی ہے پس مجھے امید ہے کہ میری امت کے لوگ قیامت کے روز تمام انبیاء کی امتوں سے زیادہ ہوں گے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1806]
