انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "The Fire and Paradise disputed with each other. The Fire said, 'I have been singled out for punishing the arrogant and the wrongdoers,' and Paradise said, 'I do not know what the reason is that only those who are poor, needy, and looked down upon will enter me.' Allah the Exalted said to Paradise, 'You are My mercy; through you I will bestow mercy upon whom I will of My righteous servants.' And He said to the Fire, 'You are the place of My punishment; through you I will punish whom I will of My servants. Each of you has a fixed limit to be filled, but the Fire will not be filled until Allah the Exalted places His Foot upon it. At that time the Fire will say, "Enough, enough," and at that moment it will be filled and shrink together. As for Paradise, Allah the Exalted will create another creation for it (so as to fill Paradise with that creation).'"
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے فرمایا:”دوزخ اور جنت آپس میں جھگڑا کرنے لگیں۔ دوزخ نے کہا کہ میں متکبر اور ظالم لوگوں کو عذاب دینے کے لیے مخصوص کر دی گئی ہوں اور جنت نے کہا کہ معلوم نہیں کیا وجہ ہے کہ مجھ میں تو وہ لوگ آئیں گے جو غریب، محتاج، نظر سے گرے ہوئے ہوں گے۔ اللہ تعالیٰ نے جنت سے فرمایا:”تو میری رحمت ہے، اپنے نیک بندوں میں سے جس کو چاہوں گا تیرے ذریعہ رحمت سے فیض یاب کروں گا اور دوزخ سے فرمایا کہ تو میرے عذاب کی جگہ ہے، اپنے بندوں میں سے جسے چاہوں گا تیرے ذریعہ عذاب دوں گا اور ان دونوں میں سے ہر ایک کے بھرنے کی ایک حد مقرر ہے، لیکن دوزخ نہ بھرے گی، یہاں تک کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس پر اپنا قدم رکھ دے گا، اس وقت دوزخ کہے گی”بس بس“اور اس وقت بھرے جائے گی اور سمٹ جائے گی اور رہی جنت تو اللہ تعالیٰ اس کے لیے ایک اور مخلوق پیدا کرے گا (تاکہ اس مخلوق سے جنت کو بھر دے)۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1781]
