Narrated Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both): The people of Quraysh are not from the family of Muhammad (peace be upon him), but they are some relatives, and there is kinship. So the Prophet (peace be upon him) had said to the Quraysh, "I want nothing from you except this much, that you keep (love and) maintain ties of kinship with me because of the relationship."
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما کہتے ہیں کہاہل قریش آل محمدصلی اللہ علیہ وسلممیں سے نہیں ہیں بلکہ کچھ رشتہ دار ہیں اور قرابت ہے۔ پس نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمنے قریش سے فرمایا تھا:”میں تم سے اور کچھ نہیں چاہتا فقط اتنا چاہتا ہوں کہ تم میرے ساتھ بوجہ قرابت کے (محبت سے رہو اور) صلہ رحمی کرو۔“[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1773]
