انگریزی ترجمہ
Narrated Al-Bara (may Allah be pleased with him): You people consider the Conquest of Makkah to be the meaning of Al-Fath (the Victory) mentioned in the Quran, but we consider the Pledge of Ridwan on the day of Hudaybiyyah to be the true victory. We were fourteen hundred with the Messenger of Allah at Hudaybiyyah, which was a well. We drew water from it until not a drop remained. When the Prophet learned of this, he came and sat on its edge. He asked for a vessel of water, made ablution, rinsed his mouth, supplicated, and poured the water into the well. We waited a short while, and the well produced so much water that we and our animals were all satisfied.
اردو ترجمہ
سیدنا براء رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہلوگو! تم تو سورۃ الفتح سے مراد فتح مکہ لیتے ہو اور ہم بیعت رضوان کو جو حدیبیہ کے دن ہوئی، فتح سمجھتے ہیں (جس کا قصہ یوں ہے) کہ ہم چودہ سو آدمی رسول اللہصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکے ہمراہ تھے اور حدیبیہ ایک کنواں ہے، اس کا پانی ہم نے لینا شروع کیا، اس قدر) نکالا کہ اس میں ایک قطرہ نہ چھوڑا۔ جب یہ خبر نبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو معلوم ہوئی تو آپصلی اللہ علیہ وسلموہاں تشریف لائے اور اس کے کنارے پر بیٹھ کر ایک برتن میں پانی منگوایا اور وضو کیا پھر کلی کی اور دعا فرمائی اور وہ پانی اس کنویں میں ڈال دیا۔ ہم تھوڑی دیر تک ٹھہرے رہے پھر کنویں میں پانی اس قدر ہو گیا کہ جس سے ہم اور ہمارے جانور، سب سیراب ہو گئے۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 1636]
