Narrated Aisha, Mother of the Believers (may Allah be pleased with her): The Prophet (peace be upon him) liked to begin with the right side in putting on his shoes, combing his hair, performing ablution, and in all his affairs.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ صدیقہ رضی اللہ عنہا کہتی ہیں کہنبی کریمصلی اللہ علیہ وسلمکو جوتی پہننے میں، کنگھی کرنے، طہارت (وضو، غسل) کرنے میں (غرض تمام کاموں میں) داہنی جانب سے ابتداء کرنا اچھا لگتا تھا۔[مختصر صحيح بخاري/حدیث: 133]
