حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلاَبَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، قَالَ ذَكَرُوا النَّارَ وَالنَّاقُوسَ، فَذَكَرُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى، فَأُمِرَ بِلاَلٌ أَنْ يَشْفَعَ الأَذَانَ وَأَنْ يُوتِرَ الإِقَامَةَ.
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Anas (may Allah be well pleased with him) narrates that the Companions (may Allah be well pleased with them all) discussed the use of fire and a bell (to announce the time of prayer), and in this connection the practices of the Jews and Christians were mentioned. Then Hadrat Bilal (may Allah be well pleased with him) was commanded to pronounce the words of the Adhan twice and the words of the Iqama once.
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت انس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہم نے (نماز کے وقت کی اطلاع کے لیے) آگ اور ناقوس کا ذکر کیا، پھر اس سلسلے میں یہود و نصاریٰ کا ذکر آیا۔ پھر حضرت بلال رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کو حکم دیا گیا کہ اذان کے کلمات دو دو مرتبہ کہیں اور اقامت کے کلمات ایک ایک مرتبہ۔
