حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، قِيلَ لِلْبَرَاءِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، أَوَلَّيْتُمْ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَقَالَ أَمَّا النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَلاَ، كَانُوا رُمَاةً فَقَالَ " أَنَا النَّبِيُّ لاَ كَذِبْ أَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبْ ".
انگریزی ترجمہ
Hadrat Abu Ishaq (upon him be mercy) narrates that Hadrat Bara' (may Allah be well pleased with him) was asked, while I was listening, 'Did you flee along with the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) on the day of the battle of Hunain?' He replied, 'As for the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), he most certainly did not flee. The enemies were skilled archers, and the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) was declaring: I am the Noble Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), this is no lie; I am the son of Abdul Muttalib.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت ابو اسحاق رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت براء رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے پوچھا گیا اور میں سن رہا تھا کہ کیا آپ حنین کے دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم کے ساتھ پیٹھ پھیر کر بھاگے تھے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا: نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے تو ہرگز پیٹھ نہیں پھیری۔ دشمن اچھے تیر انداز تھے اور حضور صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم ارشاد فرما رہے تھے: میں نبی ہوں جھوٹ نہیں، میں عبدالمطلب کا بیٹا ہوں۔
