حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعٍ،، وَكَانَ، رِفَاعَةُ مِنْ أَهْلِ بَدْرٍ، وَكَانَ رَافِعٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعَقَبَةِ، فَكَانَ يَقُولُ لاِبْنِهِ مَا يَسُرُّنِي أَنِّي شَهِدْتُ بَدْرًا بِالْعَقَبَةِ قَالَ سَأَلَ جِبْرِيلُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم. بِهَذَا.
انگریزی ترجمہ
It is narrated from Hadrat Mu'adh bin Rifa'ah bin Rafi' that Hadrat Rifa'ah (may Allah be well pleased with him) was from the people of Badr and Hadrat Rafi' (may Allah be well pleased with him) was from the people of Aqabah. Hadrat Rafi' (may Allah be well pleased with him) would say to his son, 'I would not exchange my participation in Aqabah even for participation in Badr.' He narrated that Jibra'il (upon him be peace) asked the Beloved Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), 'What status do you accord the people of Badr among you?' He declared, 'The best of the Muslims' — or said something similar. Jibra'il (upon him be peace) replied, 'Likewise the angels who were present at Badr.'
اردو ترجمہ
حضرت معاذ بن رفاعہ بن رافع سے روایت ہے کہ حضرت رفاعہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اہل بدر میں سے تھے اور حضرت رافع رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اہل عقبہ میں سے تھے۔ حضرت رافع رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ اپنے بیٹے سے فرمایا کرتے تھے: عقبہ (میں شرکت) کے بدلے بدر میں شرکت بھی مجھے خوش نہیں کر سکتی۔ فرمایا: جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ وآلہ وسلم سے پوچھا: آپ اہل بدر کو اپنے میں کیا سمجھتے ہیں؟ ارشاد فرمایا: بہترین مسلمان (یا اسی طرح کوئی کلمہ)۔ جبرائیل علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: اسی طرح وہ فرشتے بھی جو بدر میں شریک ہوئے۔
